Join our Health & Wellness team in the position of Delegating Nurse, RN. As the Delegating Nurse, you will be responsible for compliance of the nursing department as stated by OHCQ.

Completion of initial assessments and significant change resident assessments (RAT).
Develop and maintain a service plan for each resident, being attentive to each resident as an individual and in accordance with the state assisted living regulations.
Completion of 45 day assessments of all residents.
Ensure compliance with medication with medication passes and medication technician qualifications.
Complete weekly wound rounds.
Ensure overall compliance with OHCQ regulations in regard to nursing services and resident care.
Works closely with Executive Director to ensure overall compliance within the community.
Works side-by-side with Director of Health and Wellness to monitor nursing department as a whole and ensure compliance and highest quality of care is provided.
Vital part of Quality Assurance within the community and documentation of meetings and initiatives to improve resident care.
Meets regularly with the supportive services, social services, and/or resident to evaluate the service needs.
Works collaboratively with all other departments to assure delivery of customer related services.
Informs physician and other personnel of changes in a resident's condition and needs.
Counsels the residents and their family members in meeting residency standards and healthcare/psychosocial needs.
Adheres to all OSHA regulations and safety procedures when lifting, bending and using equipment.
Concerns his/herself with the safety of all community residents in order to minimize the potential for fire and accidents. Also ensures that the location adheres to the legal, safety, health, fire and sanitation codes by being familiar with his/her role in carrying out the site's fire, safety and disaster plans and by being familiar with current SDS.
Puts customer service first; ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights.
Performs all other duties as requested.
Education Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory or management role.
Must possess current RN designation as required by the State of Maryland.
Fulfill and maintain continuing education credits as required by state.
Experience in senior living, long term care or rehabilitative environments.
